Music comes to us all differently and can spread emotion unlike anything else. Silence the Violence is a music festival directed at creating awareness about violence around the world. Music has played a huge part in my life to help me get through all types of things, such as grief or getting pumped for a work out. Silence the Violence concept was to stay neutral and reflect that violence is a world wide problem. The show features many rock/punk bands, using words that reflect the meaning behind the festival to create a guitar image. Type is our silent voice and can impact greatly. Sticking with red as the only color used, it creates a focal point, which in this case is Silence the Violence.
